Later Life

"A boulevard comedy of a high order"
The New York Times
Why see Later Life?
What would you do if you were given a second chance of love?
Renowned playwright A.R. Gurney takes over the Keen Stage for the third time with director Jonathan Silverstein as they present us with Later Life, the production that follows a middle-aged man and woman through a relationship that once got away, but has the flame gone out or is their chance for reigniting the passion?
The middle-aged man and woman who meet at a cocktail-party begin to reflect on the relationship that escaped them 30 years ago. While the pair begin to rediscover each other and themselves a flock of delightful guests gather behind them, all eager to find out whether the romance will blossom or if history is only going to repeat itself. A romantic tale of missed connections and hope for new-beginnings.
With sorrow and laughter this classic Gurney play reminds us that we never know what's around the corner.
