A Special One-Night-Only Charity Event
Join an all star-cast as they come together for an evening of powerful story-telling in aid of Dramatic Need, a charity that works in South Africa and Rwanda, using the creative arts to build confidence and hope in vulnerable children traumatised by poverty and crime. Directed by eight-time Academy Award-winning director Danny Boyle, the production was last seen at London's Royal Court Theatre in 2015.
The play features real stories from children going up in the rural township of Rammulotsi in South Africa, the site of the 1990 massacre of five schoolboys during an anti-apartheid protest. Adapted by Zawe Ashton, Tom Stoppard and N'gozi Anyanwu amongst others, the monologues will be performed by a cast including Daniel Kaluuya, James McAvoy, Audra McDonald, Ewan McGregor, Trevor Noah, Susan Sarandon, and Charlize Theron.
Net proceeds from the event go towards Dramatic Need and Carnegie Hall.
