A celebrated tenor from Germany, the operatic superstar Jonas Kaufmann has been lauded by the global press as "the world's greatest tenor" (The Telegraph). Four years after his Carnegie Hall debut in 2014, Kaufmann returns.

In 1920s/1930s Germany, operetta and popular song were gaining popularity, soon film makers were employing some of the greatest composers in cabaret, operetta and popular music to score their new 'talkies' movies. Jonas Kaufmann will perform a selection of some of the greatest music from this time, reminding us of his great versatility and further strengthening his title!
