Why See Jonas Kaufmann?
Kaufmann returns to Carnegie Hall
A celebrated tenor from Germany, the operatic superstar Jonas Kaufmann has been lauded by the global press as "the world's greatest tenor" (The Telegraph). Four years after his Carnegie Hall debut in 2014, Kaufmann returns once again with pianist Helmut Deutsch in his latest recital concert. He will be performing Die schone Müllerin cycle by Schubert, which was in turn based on the famed poems by Wilhelm Muller. Having tackled most of opera's most challenging roles in Carmen,Tosca, Adriana Lecouvreur, and Don Carlo across the world's biggest opera houses, he has finally come into his own both a singer, and as a successful actor.
