A dazzling one night only concert performance
A flurry of stars including John Lithgow, Patrica Racette, Erin Morley and Paul Appleby join the Orchestra of St. Lukes for a one night only benefit concert of Bernstein's vivacious Candide, in celebration of the legendary composer's centenary. A biting satire adapted from Voltaire's novella, Candide is a rollicking adventure following one man's quest to find the best of all possible worlds.
Known for its clever fusion of Broadway pizazz and operatic flair and including the shining standards 'Glitter and Be Gay' and 'Make Our Garden Grow' among many more, it is a cherished classic that continues to dazzle audiences over six decades from when it first premiered!
