WAR, Tower of Power, and 80s comedy legends Cheech and Chong will be heating up stages across the USA this Summer with their "Up in Smoke" tour - a rare chance to catch all three performing on the same stage and relive your 1970s and 80s hey-days.
Cheech and Chong first embarked on their comedy career in the 1970s and released several albums and films before splitting in the late 1980s to work on their own solo careers. Much to the delight of their die-hard fans, the duo reunited in 2008 to tour once again and unleash their unique brand of stoner comedy to the world.
WAR are a multi-platinum-selling band American funk band with several hits including 'Low Rider' and 'The Cisco Kid'. Known for their often politically and socially motivated lyrics, the band formed way back in 1969 and only have one of their original members left in their line-up.
Tower of Power are a band with an eclectic sound, compromising R&B, funk and soul elements. The band have released an impressive 17 studio albums since their inception in 1969, but strangely only eight singles. Still, with a lifespan of over 44-years and counting, Tower of Power are still the leaders in their field and the undisputed kings of horn section funk!
