Good show overall!
You have to hand it to Harry Connick Jr.... there are not many "crooners" these days who will spend a whole evening singing the old standards.... while he doesn't have the voice or style of the legends -- Sinatra, Crosby, Dean or Sammy -- he comes pretty close.. my only gripe is that he jazzed up a few songs -- True Love, Begin The Beguin-- which are better when sung straight... he even could have done them both ways... and talking about what "geniuses" his wife and daughters are was a real bore... he could have been singing! ... Harry at Wolftrap
Are you kidding me? I am still swooning... Absolutely loved the band, all exemplary. The
night air was filled with electricity, and the obvious enthusiasm of the band and
especially the New Orleans and jazz music was contagious. People were dancing,
clapping along. It was thrilling throughout Harry Connick Jr's performance. I had some

talked to the audience about things, it was like he was sitting on your porch, having a
neighborly, intimate conversation. Yeah, I am definitely smitten! Especially by the song

They started the show with a star spangled banner rendition by his band not even him singing then had a opening act that probably performed 6-7 songs. He did a cute tap dancing number with a amazing tap dancer and then a Louisiana funeral through the crowd but it was same beat over and over no singing. Ended show with fire works show. So yes it was great but I wanted to hear more of his singing and less of his band or opening act. His concert felt like only a hour of him..... ... Read more
