Why See Pearl Jam?
Major 2016 Tour
The heroic Pearl Jam have proved themselves more than capable of sticking around. Arriving on the music scene as grunge exploded, the Seattle ruled the airwaves of 90's college radio with tracks like 'Alive', 'Go' and 'Jeremy'. As America's alt. music heyday faded away, the band stayed above water by playing around with world music, new wave and folk influences, and frontman Eddie Vedder produced a number of solo projects, including the soundtrack for Into The Wild.
The band's latest album Lightning Bolt saw them returning to the heavier crunchier sounds of their early days, and was warmly received by fans and critics alike. There's rumblings of a new album in the works, so you might just hear some new material when the band play Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY, Closed October 18, 2013
