Known for its musical guests, especially folk and traditional musicians, tongue-in-cheek radio drama, and Garrison Keillor's signature storytelling segment, News from Lake Wobegon, A Prairie Home Companion returns to tour this Christmas. Featuring Keillor, singers Heather Masse and Christine DiGiallonardo, radio actors Fred Newman, Sue Scott, and Tim Russell, and Rich Dworsky and the Shoe Band.

Running on Minnesota Public Radio from 1974, the show reached a staggering 3.5 million listeners each week on 700 different public radio stations, making listeners laugh and satisfying their musical sweet teeth with myriad musical guests.
