Author DanielDaniel, June 19th, 2025

The Musical Will Run Until June 29th at James Earl Jones Theatre

After 100 performances (including previews), Real Women Have Curves has announced that it will play its last performance on June 29th.

Even though the musical received two Tony Award nominations Best Original Score and Best Featured Actress in a Musical- the production was unfortunately not a box office success. On average, the acclaimed musical only sold an average of 63% of available seats per performance over the last month.

The musical's producers Barry Weissler and Jack Noseworthy released the following statement: "We are grateful...to our company and audiences who made it all possible, and especially applaud our cast's courage, vulnerability, and authenticity in telling this story each night. Though our run on Broadway is coming to an end, we are very much looking forward to the future life of Real Women Have Curves and continuing to bring this important story to new audiences."

With only a week and a half left to catch this musical live at James Earl Jones Theatre - grab your tickets while you still can!
