Danny Burnstein reunites with Audra McDonald for Gypsy

The Tony winner joins the upcoming revival as Herbie

One of the most anticipated Broadway revivals of the season, Gypsy casts Tony winner Danny Burnstein as Herbie, reuniting him with Audra McDonald for the second time on stage. 

Last seen in Moulin Rouge! where he originated (and won the Tony for) the role of Harold Zidler, Burnstein and McDonald starred together in 2016's Shuffle Along, Or The Making of the Musical Sensation of 1921 and All That Followed.

In addition to his Tony (and seven nominations), Burnstein is also a double Drama Desk winner and a three-time Grammy nominee.
