Gettin' The Band Back Together Announces Closing Date!
After opening last month (August 13) Gettin' The Band Back Together have announced that they will be closing their doors at the Belasco Theater on September 16.
At the time of closing the production will have performed 30 preview performances and 40 regular performances.
What is Gettin' The Band Back Together about?
Like many of us, Mitch once dreamed of being a rock star, but then life took over. Now he's in his forties and back living with his mom in Jersey after his Wall Street job hits the bricks. At a loose end, Mitch decides to round-up the members of his old high school band The Juggernaut. With a local Battle of the Bands looming, the band may be a way for Mitch to rediscover his mojo, and to maybe impress his old high school crush.
However, the competition becomes a whole lot more serious when local landowner Tygen, who is threatening to foreclose Mitch's mom's house, throws his hat in the ring. The only way for Mitch stop him is to defeat up on the stage!
