TEN Tony Nominations for My Fair Lady
Including Best Revival of a Musical and Best Direction of a Musical
Bartlett Sher's revival of My Fair Lady has gained TEN Tony nominations for this year's awards. The musical, which opened only recently, has been nominated for Best Revival of a Musical and Best Direction of a Musical for Sher himself!
The production was also nominated for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical for Harry Hadden-Paton, Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical for Lauren Ambrose, Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role in a Musical for Norbert Leo Butz and Best Performance by an Actress in a Featured Role in a Musical for Diana Rigg.
Other nominations for the musical include; Best Scenic Design of a Musical, Best Costume Design of a Musical, Best Lighting Design of a Musical and Best Choreography.
