Phantom Of The Opera hasn't just become a theatrical icon and one of Broadway's longest running shows, it also helped modernise and redefine the musical genre. So when the production announced that it would be lowering the curtains once and for all after an incredible 35-year run, Fan-toms across the country were left devastated.
