Autumn color: Take a stroll through Central Park or the New York or the Brooklyn Botanic Gardens to take in some of the stunning autumn foliage. Spiced Pumpkin latte optional! Or if you're happy to head further afield, take a day trip to Bear Mountain State Park for expansive vistas and incredible color.

Go pumpkin-picking: Head over to Tribeca Greenmarket to select some picture-perfect pumpkins for your porch or Insta, or both. Or else get them direct from the farm by paying Decker Farm on Staten Island or Queens County Farm Museum a visit!

Cheer on some runners: The famous New York City Marathon is finally going ahead once again, so what excuse is there to not go and cheer on its 33k runners on November 7th.
