The latest revival of Six Degrees of Separation opens next week, and we now have our first look at the cast in all their Manhattan chic, 1990s fashion glory. Leading the cast is seven time Emmy winner Allison Janney, sporting a very fetching doo, while the rest of the cast also includes Tony winner John Benjamin Hickey and Straight Outta Compton star Corey Hawkins.
Inspired by the true story of con man David Hampton, Six Degrees begins with a young man turning up on the doorstep of a wealthy Manhattan couple, bleeding from a knife wound and claiming to be the son of Sidney Poitier. Endlessly charismatic, he insinuates himself into their lives, and brings on something of a spiritual awakening in the couple, before events take an unexpected turn.
