Alex Brightman and Sara Chase In Schmigadoon!
This time on Broadway!
Alex Brightman (Beetlejuice) and Sara Chase (The Great Gatsby) are officially returning as Josh Skinner and Melissa Gimble in Schmigadoon!, the stage musical based on the hit Apple TV+ series.
The show will set up shop at the Nederlander Theatre, with previews beginning April 4, 2026, and an official opening night on April 20. There's no business like Schmigabusiness!
About Schmigadoon
Both stars are reprising their roles from the show's sold-out world premiere at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. The show features a book, music, and lyrics by Schmigadoon!'s creator, Cinco Paul, and direction and choreography by Broadway favorite Christopher Gattelli - both returning for this Broadway upgrade.
The musical follows real-world couple Josh and Melissa, who stumble into the enchanted town of Schmigadoon - a Technicolor land where everyone acts like they're in a 1940s musical. Expect toe-tapping numbers, love triangles, and plenty of tongue-in-cheek tributes to classics like Oklahoma!, The Music Man, and Carousel.
The stage version will include every song from the show's Grammy-nominated score - plus some brand-new tunes and even a few numbers that never made it into the TV version.
