The iconic musical Chess is making a triumphant return to Broadway! Nearly four decades since its last run in 1988, the cherished production is back, featuring an all-star cast.

Tony Award winner Aaron Tveit steps into the role of Freddie Trumper, with Lea Michele portraying Florence Vassey and Nicholas Christopher as Anatoly Sergievsky. This marks Michele's return to originating a Broadway role since Spring Awakening back in 2006.
What is the plot?
With a new book by Danny Strong and directed by Michael Mayer, Chess unfolds during the peak of the Cold War, where two grandmastersone American, one Russianface off in an intense tournament. Beyond the chessboard, personal rivalries escalate as both players vie for the affections of the same woman, intertwining political tension with emotional drama.
