SKIP IT

It’s way too long, way too dreary and in the end, depressing and pointless. We knew how this was going to end. We learned nothing new or enlightening along the way. Brian Cox is no Brian Cranston; he muffed many lines in the preview we saw, and was indistinguishable from the irascible character he plays on “Succession.” Other accomplished actors playing LBJ admin officials just stood around, saying nothing. Save your money, see something else.
