Love this band!!!. A great taste of Colorado in Cleveland. The venue
however needs to have seating available for all patrons not just the
high rollers! The restaurant was good. Service was average. I would
not take my mother in law to see a show there unless we paid for
seating.

STELLAR ROCK-BLUES-FUNK
Almost surprising how much zest and power behind the guitar work and vocals of Todd Park
Mohr. At times I thought, wow, Jimi Hendrix would approve. Other times I thought of Prince and
yet others the songwriting of Bruce Springsteen or Dire Straits. Crazy wide-range of sounds flew
out of his guitars.

BIG HEAD TODD = BIG PERFORMANCE
BHTM still pumps it out after all these years. They have stayed true to themselves it appears. First time at The Pabst Theater and I loved it. Wasn't sure about the Hazel Miller edition, but wow, what an added element. Beers were solid too.

BHTM THE VOGUE THEATER 11/7/21
Another one for the “funky fun” books. We were not really sure what to expect coming out of the past 18 months of covid no shows. Last night’s show was a funky, rollicking, roller coaster of one of the better set lists from Todd & company. Loved the crowd participation! All time favorite show closer “I Wanna Be Sedated!”

BIG HEAD TODD @RED ROCKS
Love Big Head Todd and the Monsters have seen then at least 25 times, Red Rocks is the best place to see them IMO. But what the Heck happened with the audio on Saturday night? 06/08/19. Worst performance ever, It will not stop me from seeing them again but they really needed to address that disconnect with the guitar issue. Todd changed out many guitars still same problem. :(

BIG HEAD TOO BAD!
I'm a big fan of Big Head Todd and have seen them four times in Dallas at the House
of Blues. I was really looking forward to last night's show. Unfortunately, audio
problems plagued the performance from start to finish. Apparently the pedal board
wasn't working correctly; Todd and a crew guy kept fiddling with it. Every song
sounded muddy. Too much reverb. Todd tried to adapt his playing to work around
it but was not successful. Too bad. Why not just stop the show for a few minutes
and FIX the problem? I would like my money back.

BIG HEAD TODD AND THE MONSTERS
I love Big Head Todd and was disappointed in the concert in Houston at the House of Blues last night. The audio problems really affected the show. I saw the band at the House of Blues last year and the show was awesome. Hope to see them again—maybe at Red Rocks!

VIOLENT FEMMES AND BHTM JUNE 11, 2022
Hated the pairing of the Violent Femmes with BHTM. Then, the sound director for BHTM was way off all night. Thus, the 5 new songs did nothing for our group of 4. Too loud at 96-98 decibels to hear any lyrics, which caused many in stands to leave. We moved up to the top and it was still screeching loud. Worst BHTM show ever in the last 20 years of their Red Rocks history!!!

BIG HEAD TODD AND THE MONSTERS
I’ll have to agree with James Jackson. This was by far the “worst” performance sound wise and Todd’s vocals were subpar along with subpar guitar licks and solos that were lacking. I am a die hard BHTM fan and this was by first time to see them live. Wow. what a BIG disappointment. It wasn’t just the mix and pedal board problem, the vocals were off and flat at times. Plus I’ve never heard Todd’s voice sound like he did last night. It was sick and not in a good way. Poor guitar solo phrasing. Timing and missed licks were piss poor. Every guitar player has a bad night and it was evident with changing guitars every freakin song struggling to find something that would work. It was not happening! I wanted to leave after the first couple of songs. I feel really bad for Todd, how embarrassing. Still love guys, but being honest last night “sucked” and certainly not worth what I paid for sit down tickets. What a bummer. Love the HOB venue, food and service staff were great. Also, stick with the Benedict running through the Carr V6. Red Rock 2008!
