5 STAR PERFORMANCE

After a very short time the cast has nailed it! Samantha was spectacular, her voice was magical. This was well beyond what I expected . Besides the clothing that Edward Lewis wore in the play he was spot on. I would highly recommend

5.0 star rating Sherri Devito from Greenwich CT

THIS WAS AMAZING!

This show was spectacular! After seeing virtually every Broadway play I can say that the read creation of this iconic movie was right on point. The cast did a tremendous job the singing was excellent well thought out storyline etc..... Nothing bad to say totally enjoyable I can assure you you will not be disappointed. Great job guys

EIGHT WOMEN LOVED IT!

Sorry to see the bad reviews this play did not deserve. Go to many many shows and all of us found this show VERY entertaining! Get yourself a ticket and have some fun!!

FIRST TIMER

Charming, funny, well-casted, and a great show to see as a first-timer to NYC’s Broadway.

4.0 star rating Barbara K from Paw Paw, MI

NOSTALGIC NIGHT

We saw it in Chicago and we loved it. It is so much like the movie! Thank you. The way the opera was staged, yes I did get tears. My one wish was that there was a scene with Mitchell’s upbeat dance style. Like the conveyer belt in Kinky Boots or the dancing in On Your Feet. We’ll see. Seeing it again in August in NY.

2.0 star rating Kathleen Bernstein from Boston, MA

BORIN AT BEST

This show was the movie. However, all it made you want to do is go home and watch the movie which is what we did. Samantha was very good but she just couldn't carry the whole show by herself. Andy was very wooden and stiff. Granted he had only been there a few days but still- it's Broadway. We saw 'Hamilton' the night before so this just did not hold up by comparison. Can't recommend.

EMBARRASSINGLY TEDIOUS

Avoid like the plague , the dumbest most sexist and unmemorable songs on broadway an embarrassment

1.0 star rating Donald fox , from Louisiana

PATHETIC AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Cannot believe a musical this devoid of songs makes it to broadway it’s only due to the movie a shameless rip off and Bryan Adams shows how desperate the show is

1.0 star rating Alan from Hartford , ct

AVOID THIS TRAVESTY OF A HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL

Expected better than this , a musical with no charm whatsoever and the songs are simply laughable watch the movie and save yourself the expense and dissapointment

1.0 star rating Berswick Taylor from Phoenix ,Arizona

WHY WHY WHY

How did this even make broadway it really does not deserve to be there rather poor musical

1.0 star rating Andre Morales from Florida

HUGELY DISSAPOINTED

Was so looking forward to seeing this as my wife and I loved the movie , stick with the movie memories this is a rip off and a light musical at best , I wish I had taken note of the other reviews .

1.0 star rating Gary Oldham from Hartford , Connecticut

BROADWAY DESERVES BETTER

Avoid the expense and the let down , a musical without one memorable singable song see it and see what I mean

1.0 star rating Nancy from Canada

HOW DID THIS MAKE BROADWAY

Lame lame lame , the girls were looking forward to it as we all love the movie , but what a total disaster , a high school production would offer more . The songs are awful dated lyrics and unmemorable. Avoid at all costs don’t say you were not warned .

1.0 star rating Dion Singer from Los Angeles

ABSOLUTE DISASTER

Terrible unimaginative songs which are not even memorable outdated and to call this a musical is a farce avoid at all costs go see anything but this

1.0 star rating Suzanne Leon . Los Angeles from New York, New York

WILL NOT LAST

Having loved the movie was excited to see this sadly the excitement was short lived . Nothing new here and not one song to remember , there is so much originality on broadway that this looks even worse , my date and I didn’t even make it to the end of the show . Don’t make the same mistake as us . I should have read the customer reviews not the critics . Using an 80s pop start to write a musical was a waste

1.0 star rating Bruce Allen from Vancouver

AWFUL

A hit movie does not make for a surefire musical . Choice of songwriters totally wrong doubtful they have ever seen a musical , avoid at all costs as there are so many great musicals to enjoy . Could not remember one song and the lyrics must have been written by a five year old , loved the opera piece wish there had been more . An expensive waste of time re watch the movie

1.0 star rating Carl Leighton Pope from London

A MUSICAL SHAME

If you loved the movie and who doesn’t AVOID the musical as it is an expensive night out , songs were not even catchy or memorable not one song , replace the songwriters , needs to complete overhaul will not last .

1.0 star rating Lawrence from New York, New York

DISASTER!

Samantha Barks is amazing. But Andy Karl a total disaster. Couldn’t be more miscast. He belongs in Jersey Boys on a motorcycle with a leather jacket not a sophisticated businessman. The play took a perfect movie and butchered it. Totally amateurish. The ensemble looks like the rejects of Broadway. How sad!

1.0 star rating Paul Enerstein from Providence

BORING AT BEST

Lousy see at your own peril Who wrote the songs simply banal
