TEDESCHI TRUCKS MERRIAM THEATRE PHILADELPHIA JUNE 8
Great show. Snuck down to the third row. Third time I've seen them,
best show yet. Susan, Derek and their fantastic band are such a
wonderful musical treat. š¼š¼š¼

GREAT PERFORMANCE
I just saw the band a Wolf Trap. What a concert! I enjoyed every moment! Once suggestion. All instrumentals and backup signers are great. But, you are playing to an audience that is morning the Death of Greg Alman as evidenced by the reaction to Whipping Post last night. I would recommend that Derek include another instrumental maybe "Ode To Elizabeth Reed"..... to fill in versus other instrumentals ( sax, etc). Just something to think about. Super Concert! Super everything. I thoroughly enjoyed the concert.

TTB IN AKRON
Long time admirer, first time seeing in
concert. Powerful covers of Dylan, Cohen,
and Clapton's Derek and the Dominoes.
However, their performance of "The Storm"
that segued into the Allman Brothers
"Whipping Post" brought the house down.

LOUISVILLE PALACE
They played for 3 hours and 25
minutes. Sound system was awesome
and so were all the band
members.Derick and Susan led the
show like the pros they are. No
complaints from me Loved the music.
Johnny Cash. Dwight Yokem couple of
guys who would turn their back on
the crowd. They.put on one hell of a
show at the Palace don't think we
could ask for more.

THE BEST THING GOING TODAY.
I made it to the shows on the 6th and 10th. They were both outstanding - - I liked the
show on the 10th a little bit more. The sound of this band is simply enormous and I can
only describe the concerts as musical nirvana. In my view, TTB is the best live band out
there today. I have not had a concert experience like this since seeing the Grateful Dead
on its Spring 1977 tour.

SMOKIN!!!
I've had the GREAT pleasure of seeing these cats 5 or 6 times now, they JUST keep getiing better and better if that is POSSIBLE. Great setlist, great covers, STATESBORO BLUES brought the house down, I PITY THE FOOL-off the chain, Laugh about it and Midnight in Harlem awesome, it seems Derek was really into, he was SMILING a lot, don't see that often, Susan was just having a BALL on stage, band was KILLING IT.
Kyle from Seattle, Washington
THIS WAS AN AMAZING SHOW
This was maybe the best concert I've ever seen...I enjoyed every minute. The level of
power between Susan Tedeschi's voice and Derek Truck's guitar was from another
world.
Samuel DiL from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania
INCREDIBLY SPECIAL
Have yearned to see this band for forever. Finally, at the MET in Philly, last evening, was a flawless 3 hour+ musical performance unlike any other. The Ensemble en Masse, was as tight and clean as any could have hoped, with their driven pieces, Susanās vocals and Guitar, the accompaniment of the artists, the Jazz Blues Gospel/Style fusion of the entire band, as well as the Greatest Slide Guitar work of Derek, since Uncle Duane in the 60ās and early 70ās. The Performance was Ultra Superior. A Classic Moment in Musical Time for us, as well as those who had the pleasure of attending. If there are any bands in their league, Iād certainly like to know who they might be. For my money and musical tastes, these are the Best of the Best, not a close second. And, Iām going back to seeing shows from the mid 60ās. This one right there with any, at the Zenith of concert shows. BRAVO!!!!!!

FIRE AND NICE
Saturday (01/22/22) TTB was on fire! It was smooth, it was messy, it was greasy, it was crunchy and every tasty note was the best!

AKRON CIVIC TEDESCHI TRUCKS
This band live is a musicians dream! This show was cooking, I gave it a 10! So glad I got to see this band! The band blew me away. š The Akron Civic Theater is a perfect venue for music.

TTB AKON CIVIC
The entire band was on top of their game great great performance. Felt bad for Susan you could tell she was in pain, but although the show must go on. I show a different side of Derek he was facing the crowd more often and was smiling. At the end of the show he walk over to Susan, put his arm out and helped her off stage , what a humbling sight. BRAVO
Tom Neveau from Detroit, Michigan
STRONG VOICES
Susan wasgreat! She really belted out the songs and gave a great guitar show.

Unbelievable favorite song so glad they played it.

MAGIC
Third time that I've seen them and they never disappoint. These guys are truly magical. Thank you to the entire band for sharing your gift. Wish I could follow them thru Europe but I'll be front and center for at least five shows when next years tour comes thru the Southeast. Safe travels!!

TEDESCHI TRUCKS AND LOS LOBOS 7/30/2022 RED ROCKS
One of the best concerts we have ever seen! Dixon was great. Then the Los Lobos lit it up with some fire guitars and drums. Tedeschi Trucks came out and just crushed it! The whole time you could see different guests from the other bands sitting in. Like the drummer from Loss Lobos on the bongos. If that w s not enough, The greatest dobro player ever Jerry Douglas sat in for at least half of the set, and lit it up With Derrek and Susan. What a great show in a great venue.

ORLANDO HARD ROCK 01/28/23
This was a really enjoyable show. We have followed this band since their inception. Originally saw Derek with the ABB and then also followed his band. There is a lot of guitar at one of these shows. If that bothers you, you've been warned. Personally I like it. Susan's voice is so good you hate to miss a moment. But they have other singers (Mike) also worthy of hearing more. The Orlando show was terrific. They were tight. They spread the spotlight around in their typical fashion. That's hard with such a big band. I miss the Derek Trucks Band and would like a more Mike. I know others could easily want more Susan. Tonight she was channeling Janis. Superb. They didn't play some of the things that had been semi standards. I know that's a loss but they replace them with things that bring a tear to your eye, done perfectly. It didn't seem they played as long tonight as other shows. I can't verify that but it was my impression. It was nonetheless terrific and I can't wait to see them again.
Duce Brern from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
TOTALLY SPECTACULAR!
I was introduced to Tedeschi Trucks at this show. What a group of unbelievable professionals. I am now a fan for life.
Mandy from Chicago, Illinois
BEST CONCERT IāVE BEEN TO
Simply amazing. They jammed in Chicago for 3+ hours, and it just kept getting better. Iāve seen a lot of concerts - from The Rolling Stones to the Foo Fighters, and everything in between. This concert blew all the others away. The backup singers, the instrumentation, it was all dialed in and fabulous. Do not miss this concert.

4.28.2023 TEDESCHI TRUCKS BAND SIMMONS ARENA, LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS
First of all my thoughts on TTB's show Friday night in Little Rock are biased - I've been a Derek Trucks fan since 1997 when I first saw him with The Derek Trucks Band and loved Susan Tedeschi since seeing her opening for The Allman Brothers Band in 1999. This was the third time I've seen TTB and they've somehow gotten better each time. This was the first time I saw "an evening with TTB" - no opening act. The crowd Friday night really seemed to enjoy the show judging from their enthusiastic responses. I felt that the crowd and the band fed off each others energy which is so critical for live shows. I think the band was more than ready to play after a nearly month long hiatus from touring. It's almost unbelievable how much talent is onstage at a TTB show. Every member is clearly a top shelf musician that would be welcomed in any band yet is with this band because they believe and enjoy the music this collective conjures on a consistent basis. In my opinion no other band can touch TTB.
Robin Lewis from Birmingham, Alabama
AMAZING* REAL* MUSIC!!!
My first time seeing TTB, but my kids have seen them several times and are what prompted me to go. I. Am. HOOKED!!
They are a fantastic, amazingly talented bunch of musicians. If you want to see/hear some REAL, FABULOUS, live music and you like blues and southern rock GO! The very next chance you get - GO!
The horn section was smooth and tight, and boy did they JAM!
(The whole band was tight.)
The backup singers were amazing and multi-talented.
The keyboardist - WOW...!! He did things on a keyboard that I've never seen!
The drummers were steady on and amazing to watch!
Derek Trucks is ....well, just WOW. I can't even explain seeing him play. It's something to see. It's an experience in itself!
Susan's voice - again, just WOW. She is in a league of her own. I LOVED hearing and seeing her perform. She is mesmerizing to me.
The whole concert was great. It's music at its finest. Some great talent and great music was on that stage. I can't say enough good things about it.
just GO!

BETTER THAN EVER
Just saw TT Band last evening at CMAC in Canadaigua. This is the 4th year in a row and last night was by far the best. High energy, non-stop blues rock. T and T continue to amaze with their guitars and her vocals. The band continues to improve with superb voices and outstanding instrumentation. The finale, the cover of "I want to take you higher," is the best encore I have ever seen. Do yourself a treat and take them in this summer.
Bruce Westmoreland from Toronto, Ontario
AWESOME SHOW
The night started and ended with great music throughout. Ziggy Marly was superb and joined TD for the encore. Iām most impressed how every player had a chance to shine. And shine they did. Thoroughly enjoyed the show as they didnāt disappoint. Would I go again? Absolutely!šš¶
Dakel from Indiana
THEY JUST KEEP GETTING BETTER
We've seen them seven times and they just keep getting better. The variety is outstanding, from blues, jazz, funk to southern rock, covering the Stones Doo Doo Doo Doo Doo, it's incredible! During the Encore everyone was on their feet to Go Higher (Sly & Family Stone). Haven't had a concert experience like it in years. They are such a talented duo. Their backup singers and band never disappoint. This is the only band I travel to see and I'll do it again and again. Please keep coming to Indy so we only have to drive a little over 100 miles.
Lad zabanski from Akron, Ohio
FINEST GUITAR DUO ON THE PLANET
statesboro blues, 2nd song of the night, new we were in for a treat. derek's 3 finger slide technique and susan's spectacular vocals left nothing to be desired.

TD GARDEN 9/27/23
Amazing show. This band has talent beyond words. Susan Tedeschi does "I cant make you love me" by Bonnie Raitt for an encore, just after ripping an
awesome guitar solo. Keep On Smiling "Wet Willy" The Mystic Van Morrison
by Warren Hanes, not to mention their own music. Best show I have seen in
years. Derek Trucks is the best guitarist I have witnessed in my 64 years on the planet. There is hope for todays music after all.
Bill M. from Boston, Massachusetts
XFINITY CENTER 2018
More Susan less Derek, she has a great voice and don't forget when
she was on her own she can play a mean guitar. It seemed like every
song Derek had to slow the song down with his 5 minute solo. Don't
get me wrong he is the best slide guitarist out there, and I do
appreciate his talent, just not every song has to be about him and his
solo performance.
Other than that the band sounded great with and awesome group of
backup singers and horn section. The venue was less than half full with
the lawn seats closed off due to lack of ticket sales. Which leads me to
believe it might be the last time they perform there.
The opening acts The Drive by Truckers were ok, Marcus King was
amazing watch out for this young guy he put on a great show.
Franz from Chicago, Illinois
SHOWMANSHIP
As great a musician as Trucks is, his showmanship is poor. He mostly plays to his band, with his back sometimes completely to the audience. Most of the time he is squirreled away between his keyboard player and his bass player, and seems more interested in what they are doing than in giving the audience a look at what he's doing. Like I said, a GREAT musician, best guitar slinger out there right now, but he needs to work on his stage presence. Tedeschi is a more versatile performer, and her solos are great too!
Allen Powell from Akron, Ohio
TTB GUITAR SOLOS
I didn't know TTB before this show in Akron Oh (2-1-22). I went because a friend ask me to go. Trucks is an amazing guitarist and the band is great. The thing that annoyed me was that EVERY single song had a long extended guitar melting solo that went on forever. On two or three songs, maybe four or five, I get it. But this was the formula from the first song to the last. We get it, you can shred it, but for me it became monotonous and predictable. From where I sat you couldn't really hear the horn section at all just screaming guitar. And I too felt like Trucks never looked at the audience...He was sideways the whole time. Great band and hard working no doubt, just not my cup of tea.
JOhn from Nashville, Tennessee
GREAT BAND AND SHOW
Very tight band and awesome vocals by Susan and the usual fantastic guitar play by Derek. Wouldāve like less covers and a few more originals but canāt complain at all. Not sure all of the solos are needed but hard to argue with that much talent. Keyboard player from Nashville (Gabe Dixon) was very good and tore up a few solos. Loved the Derek and the Dominoes cover. Great show and an even better band.
from New Haven, Connecticut
TEDESCHI TRUCKS @ WESTVILLE MUSIC BOWL JULY 6TH
Have seen them 6x over last 6-7 years, huge fan. Last night show was fantastic but, when it comes to guitar licks, Susan has officially taken a back seat to DT. She is almost like the rhythm player now, not getting any bit of a solo opportunity until late in the show. The drums kits were KILLING IT.
Great show at a GREAT VENUE
Gena from Chicago, Illinois
IMPRESSIVE TALENT
Chicago Theater crowd seemed to enjoy the musicianship of the band. Sure Derek didnāt look at the crowd but he certainly played for us. Are you there to look at him or listen? I enjoyed listening.
Captin from Ames, Iowa
AMES, IA
I enjoyed the show, however, way too much of Derekās guitar ātalentā! The band has an awesome group of horn section AND backup vocals! Would have loved to of heard more of them!!! Susan has a beautiful voice, really enjoyed her!!!
Slough Hand from Los Angeles, California
THE BAND IS FANTASTIC, BUT...
I love this band. Unfortunately, the sound mixing at their Greek Theater, 2022 performance left much to be desired. There was no separation of instruments, so it came at the audience like an undifferentiated squall of sound. Many retreated to a snack bar behind the stage and watched it on the big screen.
Lynn Valente from San Francisco, California
TOO MANY SOLOS THAT WERE NOT SUSAN
There is no question that Derek Trucks is a virtuoso guitarist but there are only so many blistering solos that one can take. The middle instrumental set struck me as an ego exercise. The drums solo was excruciating. I longed to hear more vocals from Susan. I came away with an uncomfortable feeling that she acquiesced the spotlight to him. Maybe not intentionally, but still. She is equal to him in talent.
Len Mason from Chicago, Illinois
LIKE LENGTHY GUITAR SOLOS? THIS IS THE SHOW FOR YOU. ST? NOT SO MUCH.
Saw the show at the Greek Theater in Berkeley. Huge undifferentiated sound most of the time. V hard to hear Susan, or really any of the individuals singing or playing. Huge fan of TTB, but how many guitar solos ( from DT and then, as if there werenāt enough) from three members of Los Lobos. Pass.
Lars From Wilmington from Wilmington, North Carolina
ONE OF MY FAVORITE BANDS / SO DISAPPOINTED!
One of my all-time favorite bands, caught their show at Live Oak Pavilion in Wilmington,NC last night 9/7/23. I was looking forward to a great concert from this phenomenal bandā¦So Very Disappointed! My 31y/o son knew how much I like TTB, he bought tickets as a Fatherās Day gift for he and I, met up with a bunch of his friends (girls & guys) Iāve known since they were in 1st grade he grew up with. I was talking up TTBā¦Wow, what a boring show, snoozer! Especially first half before intermission! A 10-15 minute drum solo was cool back in the day when I was a kid in ā68 Iron Butterflyās In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida but when a band starts out snoozing, into a drum solo, then intermission, what little momentum of an anticipated concert was soon lost except for us gray haired 1970s-80s concert hardcores. Many of the younger folks hung around still giving them the benefit of the doubt but TTB missed a target rich environment for new fans. Except for Midnight In Harlem and Anyway Anyhow, not impressed
Clarence from Minneapolis, Minnesota
POOR PERFORMANCE
Derek Trucks turns his back to the crowd
while playing. Who does that? Such a
phenomenon on guitar and all I saw was a
ponytail.
Then after 8 songs they take a 20 minute
break! Sorry but take a page out of Bruce or
Paul or Elton. They got em beat by 20 plus
years in age and played 3 hours straight.
Jim from Akron, Ohio
NO BASS OR BEAT NO TEMPO. GREAT VOICE
Lights flashing in to the audience eyes was annoying. There was no rhythm no bass guitar, no bass drum beat. The saxophone solo didn't follow any tempo beat.
Not Los Lobos from Atlanta, Georgia
NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL.
I seen this band over a dozen times and this was by far the worst show I've been too. We left after the first curtain call. There wasn't a reason to stay longer. Waited two years for this show and was rewarded with a crap show.
I still love your music but I'll never pay to see another one of your shows.
Dennis from Atlanta, Georgia
TEDESCHI TRUCKS AT THE FOX IN ATLANTA
I so wanted this to be a great evening. we waited two years through Covid cancellations and it finally came time to see them. Worst concert Iāve ever experienced. Either the Fox venue is acoustically challenged or TDB needs to fire their sound engineer team. It seemed each mike and instrument were all maxed out on volume ā¦.seemingly competing with each other too be heard over the din. The resulting sound overall was painfully loud and a clash of noises. The instruments should all COMPLEMENT the extraordinary talent of
DT and ST. So disappointed.
from New York, New York
NOT GREAT
I saw them in August along with Los Lobos and I immediately became a fan so much so that the next day I bought tickets to see them again at the Beacon. Last nights performance at the Beacon was not great. The sound was poor. The first set seemed short. They took a long break followed by the final set which was not much better. The audience pretty much was not moved. Not at all like the show at the Mann over the summer. Take a page from Bruce or Elton give it all to your fans.
Byron Davatzis from St Petersburg Fl
BORING GUITAR GYMNASTICS
Saw them in Clearwater Florida. Packed enthusiastic audience of geriatrics trying to recapture 1973. Tedeschi would be better without Derek. She can sing and play. The band lacks soul or swing. Way too polished for my taste. They are a Delaney and Bonnie, Allman Bros, Derek and the Dominoes cover band on steroids. Nauseating long guitar solos and a 10 minute drum solo for those who really miss the 70s! Pass.
