Why See High Fidelity?

The musical that asks, "Did I listen to pop music because I was miserable? Or was I miserable because I listened to pop music?" An unlucky-in-love record-store owner learns about life and love.  Rob's girlfriend has left him, and although the split does not make his list of top-five breakups, he is determined to figure out what he did to sour the relationships.
