Upon its release in the holidays of 1990, Home Alone not only broke box office records to become one of the highest-grossing live action comedy films of all time but solidified its status as a bonafide Yuletide tradition, taking pride of place in the annual Christmas TV line-up from then on. Experience the family-friendly comedy caper in HD, replete with a live accompaniment of John Williams' classic score performed by the New York Philharmonic, special guest conductor Constantine Kitsopoulos and the Brooklyn Youth Chorus.
Macaulay Culkin stars as wise-cracking youngster Kevin McCallister, whose family accidentally leaves him home alone when they fly to Paris for a Christmas vacation. At first, Kevin revels in the alone-time, but must think on his toes when two bumbling burglars attempt to break in. After series of the precocious kid's hilarious booby traps ensnares the half-witted duo, they angrily plot their revenge and capture our pint-sized hero, who may have a few more tricks up his small sleeve...
