MADE MY LAUGH, CRY, AND THINK. I SAW IT TWO TIMES IN 3 DAYS
I highly recommend this show. The characters were well developed and masterfully acted. Michael Cera really makes his character relatable and you can feel the teen angst inside of him. He is an extremely talented actor and I went back the second time because there were such great nuances to his character. I felt that the way he delivered his lines were impeccable, his timing, and most of all his body language. It is a credit to the play writes that I laughed and cried in the same show. Keirin Culkin was very funny, he played well off of Michael Cera and he cracked up the whole audience (and even himself) during a prop malfunction with the telephone. Tavi Gevinson plays the conflicted angst ridden teenage love interest perfectly. I love the way the scenes developed and the passion and sincerity of the delivery. I enjoy musicals but every now and then I love to see a great play. This play is the one to see, you will not be disappointed.
