Written by Ben Josephson (Coming for a Visit, A Couple of Kids From Queens), The Property centers on bank manager Irene, and the four men in her life - her husband, her ex, her son, and a teacher she desires. The teacher has just moved into the little cottage that used to be her husband's getaway, and while she ponders whether to make a move, she's trying to persuade her ex to fast-track her son's career.
Exploring themes of motherhood, class and the promises of a better life, this complex web of relationships sees all five of its participants change in unexpected ways. This Clurman Theater production is directed by Robert Kalfin.
