A FUN TAKE ON A CLASSIC

I recommend seeing this! The cast brought the text to life; despite not being well-versed in Shakespeare I was able to follow along well and even understand the jokes. The set design, lighting, sound design, costumes and rest of the production were all thoughtful and well-done, especially considering it was a smaller production and the company's first show. The ticket price is excellent value for the quality of the performance!

DO NOT MISS THIS SHOW!

Do not miss this show! I’ve never felt so invested in a production of “Romeo and Juliet!” The star-crossed lovers (Chris Bert and Mickey Tron) are fantastic, and there is beautiful work across the board - Mercutio (Lauren Zbylski) steals every scene she’s in, Lady Capulet (Aurea Tomeski) is a force to be reckoned with, and Jeorge Bennett Watson’s Friar Laurence is the man you want on your side. Run, don’t walk!

FABULOUS SHOW!!

I thought this was a wonderful production of Romeo and Juliet! The performances were some of the best I’ve seen, very moving. The pace of the show was nonstop, my boyfriend (who is not a theater person) thoroughly enjoyed the show too and didn’t get bored once! We had a great time.

LOTS OF FUN! HIGHLY RECOMMEND

MAD Company brought energy (lots!), passion, humor, & inventiveness to the classic love story! Between a bawdy, physically active female Mercutio to an appropriately angsty, youthfully love-blind rendering of Romeo & Juliet to a deep voiced, pacifying Friar, the casting was great. The tempo was also relentless, without a dull moment. Highly recommend this one!

EXCELLENT PRODUCTION FILLED WITH ENERGY

Excellent production filled with energy and emotion. The actors really bring the text to life, and I particularly enjoyed the casting and cut of the show (esp. Lady Capulet's role). The time flew by, as the pacing was impeccable. I particularly enjoyed the Nurse's performance, as well as the fiery Mercutio. The two leads, R&J, were also a captivating pair that demonstrated great understanding of the text. Highly recommend!
