This play is hilarious. There is a a hot young male Snooker player with a love interest and great chemistry invested in meaningfulness and youthful integrity, juxtaposed against fifty-something parents having it on and being super badass in spandex and animal prints. The unabashed mum, Stella, and best buddy/gangster, Waxy Bush, team up to execute a victimless crime on the overly sincere young athlete. The gangster happens to be a malapropism prone, transgender esthetician with a gold plated gun that she is not afraid to use- which makes for a great anti-hero(ine). There's also a fabulous supporting cast including the dad and some real Snooker players actually making shots. The humor has some nap to it, as do the characters. A super good time.
