A friend and I decided on an impromptu outing to the theater last night and decided upon "Squeamish" thinking it would put us in the Halloween mood. So glad we did! This one woman show, with a short run time of 1hr 15min, had me unconsciously clenching my seat by the end. Alison Fraser kept our rapt attention the entire time as she recounted a tale which subtlety lured you in and left you mouth agape by the end. My friend and I agreed that it is the type of play which keeps your mind spinning for hours afterwards, the story lying on the edge of realistic and twisted. The fact that I could hardly blink the entire hour is a testament to Ms. Fraser's sublime talent. I *highly* recommend you treat yourself and get a little Squeamish!!
