Sincerely Oscar is a vanity project conceived & written by Doreen Taylor who sang the majority of the songs, & didn’t use the talented Azusa Onyejekwe enough. I kept expecting costume changes as there was time to do so but none forthcoming. The psychedelic constantly changing background was at times subdued & other times way too disruptive. The worst part was using for the 1st time a 3D hologram of Hammerstein. Doreen Taylor certainly has a wonderful voice but the arrangement of some of the songs had a jazz feel to it which did not enhance the beautiful melodies. I would have loved to see Doreen in appropriate costume dance with Azudi when she sang Shall We Dance. We also didn’t really learn much about Hammerstein as a person - his background etc except for his fixation on the word DREAM and how it was used to compose various songs in his shows
