Get ready for a rock 'n' roll trip down memory lane!
The best of Sixties Blue-Eyed Soul is back! Bandleader Felix Cavaliere and his band The Rascals epitomized the pop rock movement that spawned peers like The Righteous Brothers and Lonnie Mack. But Cavaliere's soulful, smooth vocals as well as the band's affinity for writing their own hits put them miles ahead of their contemporaries. Now you can hear their close harmonies and that distinctive Hammond organ sound in the flesh as the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers hit the NYCB Theatre at Westbury.
The Rascals will be supported by psychedelic rockers Vanilla Fudge, who became known for their far-out reworking of popular hits like 'Ticket to Ride' and 'You Keep Me Hangin' On'. It is said The Rascals swinging sounds and organ swells inspired them to form their own band.
