Kenny G.

December 11, 2016

Kenny G began his career in Barry White's Love Unlimited Orchestra in the 1970s, and has gone onto become the best selling instrumentalist of all time. He remains the go-to man for any smooth jazz requirements and has helped the genre shake off it's stuffy, vintage image.

Paul Anka

December 17, 2016

Beginning his career by entering amateur contests, sneaking into clubs and recording his forst song when he was just fourteen years old, Paul Anka has gone on to become one of the greatest songwriters in history and has achieved unprecedented success in every venue: stage, screen, television, and recording. His musical compositions are internationally known and have been recorded by the greatest names in the entertainment industry during a music career spanning over half a decade!

A Charlie Brown Christmas

December 18, 2016

The iconic cartoon and comic strip featuring the Peanuts gang gets a brand-new stage musical in their honor for the holiday season at NYCB! When Charlie Brown bemoans the commercial nature of Christmas, he and his friends set out to create a special holiday pageant to rediscover the true meaning of the festive season. A wonderful way to introduce younger children to the Peanuts gang, and to explore the true meaning of Christmas! And of course, what Peanuts musical would be without Snoopy?!

Kenny Rogers

December 23, 2016

He saw the bulk of his solo, commercial and critical success in the late 70s and 80s, beginning with the release, in 1977, of "Lucille". Prior to that Rogers was frontman for a successful country-rock group The First Edition, with whom he had the hits "Just Dropped in (to See What Condition my Condition Was In)" and "Ruby, Don't Take Your Love to Town". Rogers' smooth personal style (well manicured greying beard, salt and pepper hair and slick suits) and raw, achingly emotive voice proved perfect for romantic ballads and 'storytelling' songs.
