A Timestalk about mental health
The New York Times presents a conversation between rap great Kanye West and The Breakfast Club's Charlamagne Tha God. This Timestalk will delve into anxiety, stress and fear, and the havoc it can reap on lives and carrers. Both Kanye and Charlamagne have talked openly in the past about their mental health struggles, so this should be a frank and enlightening evening.
Kanye has had a busy 2018, with the release of the albums Ye and Kids See Ghosts (with Kid Cudi), and the storm of controversy which greeted his public support for Donald Trump. Alongside his presenting job on the Breakfast Club, Charlamagne starred in the critically acclaimed movie Bodied. The conversation will be moderated by Times music critic Jon Caramanica.
