I FORGIVE YOU RONALD REGAN

This work is intense but not without humor. The playwright, John.S. Anastasi has done an excellent job of presenting the devastating personal trauma of Ronald Regan's harsh stand on the air traffic controller's strike of 1981. The actors are outstanding. Danielle Faitelson shines in her portrayal of Tess the spoiled, only daughter of Ray and Jane, both of whom have suffered the sad consequences of standing up for what they believed to be right. Buzz played by Robert Emmet Lunney is convincing and sympathetic as Ray's former best friend and neighbor.Patricia Richardson brings great intelligence and warmth to her role as Jane, Ray's long suffering wife. However It is P.J. Benjamin as Ray who gives a "tour de force" performance , haunted his 1981 decision, that makes watching this play an absolute MUST. Thought provoking and human this play makes for a wonderful evening in the theatre.
