A smart new comedy from the creators of The Lyons
The latest collaboration between Mark Brokaw and Nicky Silver (The Lyons, The Food Chain), This Day Forward opens Vineyard Theatre's new season. A story of love, marriage and the secrets we keep, this comedy begins in the honeymoon suite of newly married couple Martin and Irene. While he is elated at the day's proceedings, Irene is nervous and distracted. She has a confession to make. What she tells her new husband changes their relationship forever, and is still causing ripples 50 years later, as the play flashes forward to the couple, now separated, as they relive their history to their children.
Packed with witty wordplay and actors playing different characters in different acts, this Off-Broadway production stars Michael Crane and Holly Fain.
