Bramwell Tovey leads the New York Phil in a special concert packed to the brim with Bernstein! One of the country's greatest ever composers, Leonard Bernstein was the Phil's Music Director from 1957 to 1968, during which time he wrote some of his greatest works, including the score to West Side Story, as well as numerous orchestral and symphonic pieces.
This New Year's Eve concert will focus on Bernstein's contribution to the Great White Way, so expect numbers from On the Town, West Side Story and Wonderful Town.
