A complicated love triangle is at the heart of this smart new comedy

Why See Straight?

PlaysOff Broadway Shows

Boy Meets Girl And Boy

Scott Elmegreen and Drew Fornarola's new play is razor sharp dissection of social acceptance in modern day America. At the heart of the play is a love triangle, made up of investment banker Ben, who likes Emily, but also likes Chris.

The cast is made up of a talented trio of young performers. Following his stint on Canadian drama Degrassi, Jake Epstein has swifty become one of Broadway's hotttest talents, starring in the original Broadway productions of Spider Man: Turn off the Dark and Beautiful: The Carol King Musical. His two co stars are Broadway Alum Jenna Gavigan (Gypsy, HBO's Boardwalk Empire) and Thomas E. Sullivan, who is making his off-Broadway debut.

What is Straight About?

26 year old investment banker Ben falls for college sophomore Chris, but the trouble is he's already dating grad student Emily. It's a complicated love triangle that raises all sorts of issues of prejudice, acceptance and sexuality. But it's the 21st century, everyone's cool with these kind of topics right? Wrong.
