RIP

No doubt, Bocelli is a legendary talent, but with his latest concert (I saw him in Philadelphia), he appears to have sold himself out. Of the two and a half hours, he performed less than half of it. The rest was filled with variety show acts—a singer, a dancer, bassist, another singer, two more dancers, his daughter singing (she was actually great). The show was disjointed. Sort of a Christmas show, sort of not. Distracting background video graphics that disrupted rather than enhanced the performance. We paid $311 + $109 service charges to Ticketmaster for each ticket for a less than mediocre concert. Andrea is superb, but he was also largely MIA from the stage, and the bit players who filled in did not justify the cost of the event. Sad to see a legend sell out his reputation like this. Very sad.

DISAPPOINTING!

This was our 3rd time in Philly attending one of Andrea Bocelli's concerts. Obviously we thoroughly enjoyed seeing him previously and looked forward to the show last night. The show was VERY disappointing. We didn't know many of the songs. He left the stage after singing each of his songs and other performers filled in between. We paid $400 EACH for two box seat tickets. We paid to hear Andrea Bocelli sing and not other singers. Also, more than once he mentioned donating towards his worthy foundation but this was NOT the right environment to repeatedly talk about donations when all we wanted was to hear him sing. FINALLY towards the end of the show, he sang (4) songs that we knew. Overall the concert lasted a little over 2 hours. Not long enough for the amount of money we paid for our tickets. We won't be attending another one of his concerts. PS. the Philly Pops Orchestra who backed him was MAGNIFICENT!

DISAPPOINTING, PHONED IN PERFORMANCE SPENT OFFSTAGE MORE THAN ON.

Night and day to his wonderful concert 3 years ago. Concert should be called "An evening of guest perfomers featuring Andrea Bocelli". Were it not for his daughter stealing the show I would have given this concert 1 star given the lofty price of the ticket. Aside from the encores, Andrea spent more time offstage, late or on an intermission. Phoned in, disappointing performance. Time and money you will never get back.

POOR SOUND QUALITY

Bocelli is an amazing singer, no doubt about that. The FTX Arena is no place for him to present. The acoustics were terrible! No sound projection, echo, simply waste of our time and money. I do not recommend it.

EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED

This was my 3rd show that I have gone to see of this amazing man. We paid a lot of money to see Andrea. There was zero mention in any of the promotions that this was to be a Christmas show nor did we have any idea that we would be sitting through more than a couple of songs sung solo by his children or of the Soprano Diva that he included in his show. Not what we paid for. The Philharmonic was spectacular as always but again, we did not buy tickets to hear the Philharmonic play a few songs on their own without Andrea. He did not sing any of the amazing songs we have all come to love. In closing, I feel like I got ripped off. That is the last time I will pay to see him.

POORLY ORGANIZED CONCERT

I spent over $600 for 2 tickets. I live in OC. It took us 6 hrs to arrive to the concert. The traffic was fine until we started to get off the exit. It took us over 3 hrs from the exit to the hollywood bowl. Then there was no parking whatsoever. We finally found a parking mikes away were we walked to the hollywood bowl. When we got to the concert we arrived at 9 pm and heard 5 songs. Three were Andrea Boccelli himself. I was so disappointed. I swore not another concert at the hollywood bowl because of the unorganization. Never in my life have I experienced this chaos. Talk to you feel they oversold the concert. People said they arrived by 4 and no parking available. I was so excited for the concert but left very disappointed and frustrated. I feel I should get refunded or have the opportunity to attend another concert for free with 5 stars service. Not worth the time or money.

UNORGANIZED, NOT EXPECTED

The lines to enter the arena were AWFUL. We needed to look for many ways to finally find a way to get in before it started. Disappointed with numerous artists that weren't billed as part of the program. Did not pay that kind of money for unknown artist on stage frequently. Thrrecwas no reporte with audience. The screens to show the singers were disappointing. Three screens, two small one large and the majority of the time there was just scenic videos playing in middle screen making it difficult to see the performer for most viewers due to seat location. And how can you have a concert without singing your most popular song(s). An introduction into the meaning of the song would have been appreciated.
