Obie Winner
What do you do when the past rears its ugly head once again? This is what Undine must decide when her comfortable life as a successful African-American publicist is turned upside down and she must head back to her childhood community, facing the challenges of a life that she thought she had left behind.
This production of Fabulation, Or The Re-Education Of Undine marks the beginning of award winning playwright, Lynn Nottage's residency at the off-Broadway Signature Center. Nottage garnered an Obie for Fabulation in 2005, winning another in 2017 for her play Sweat, for which she also won the coveted Pulitzer Prize.
