GODSMACK - BEST BAND EVER!
Seen Godsmack last night at Blossum Music Center. They rocked the house! Best live show I have ever seen! Such magnificent performers!

EPIC... BUT SHORT!!!
Godsmack is one of my favorite bands. Easily in the top three for me. It's been over 20 years since I've seen them, so to say I've been looking forward to this evening is a true understatement. Everything from their performance, to the sound, the overall show was just epic. It could have been the perfect night. The perfect concert. One little negative though kept it from achieving that. 90 minutes. Usually concerts go a minimum of 2 hours, and that's what I was expecting. So when they did their encore, and only one, I was left standing there after they took their bows, and the lights came on. I was wondering why there wasn't more. Missing were many of the classic songs that I expected to hear. I know they can't cover them all, but I only heard two songs I believe off their new album. During the show Sully said there would be more of the old stuff to follow, but there really wasn't. There were a lot of great cover tunes which I appreciated tremendously and the performances were awesome. Again, it was a Saturday night at a 24/7 Casino, I guess I just expected the show to go on at least past 11:00 p.m. when it ended at 10:30 p.m. after starting at 9:00 p.m. and with how much the tickets were, I was left wanting more. What a bummer, because this could be the last time I get to see Godsmack. At least live in concert.
