Why See Goran Bregovic?

Gypsy King

The Balkans have long been a melting pot of different cultures, witnessing centuries of clashes and co-habitation by Muslims, Orthodox Christians and Catholics. Perhaps Yugoslavia's most famous musician, Goran's career stretches back some 40 years, during which time he's released countless records, scored numerous movies (including 1993's cult Arizona Dream starring Johnny Depp) and even wrote Serbia's entry for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest.
