Illusionist Derren Brown has cultivated quite the following in his native Britain. Now the mind master has turned his hand to Broadway as he strives to thrill audiences in New York, but what did the critics think?
Time Out New York was full of praise for Brown, saying "He is a first-class magician, and in his Broadway debut he commands our fascination for nearly two and a half hours." They finished with, "Can you believe it? You don't have to, and that's the fun. It's a con game, and Brown is a con game, and Brown is a consummate pro."
