Two of the biggest stars in Latin American music perform on-stage together in a never-seen-before collaboration between Albita and Eva Ayllon! Cuban singer Albita will be joined on-stage by Afro-Peruvian musician Eva Ayllon at New York City's Town Hall Theatre for this rare and exciting night of world folk music.
Albita is a Grammy-winning Cuban-American singer who started her career performing at a Spanish restaurant in Miami, where she gained a string of famous fans, including Quincy Jones and Tom Cruise. She also performed on Broadway in 2005 in the musical The Mambo Kings. The Los Angeles Times has called Eva Ayllon the "Tina Turner from Peru," a title earned by her extensive musical repertoire and sensual dance moves.
