His somewhat genius dissection of human interaction and observational humor occasionally leaves you questioning how he does it
Jerry Seinfeld hits the St. George Theatre in Staten Island, NY, showing for one date only on 6 Dec 2012!
He will always be unquestionably linked to his namesake series, but since its ending in 1998, Jerry Seinfeld has been keeping busy. In 2002 he starred as the subject of "Comedian", a behind-the-scenes documentary film that followed him both on and off-stage traveling on his national stand-up tour, which reflected on his post-Seinfeld life, including becoming a father.
More recently, he has also guest-starred on the Emmy-nominated Curb Your Enthusiasm and drove around chatting to his famous friends in his own series Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee.
Seinfeld's lasting appeal is credited to his astounding observational skills, as well as avoiding coarse language, dirty jokes or politics, so that his material holds a truly timeless quality. A key theme of his jokes are found in detailing personal relationships and uncomfortable social obligations that we can all sympathize with! Today continues to polish his skills with his extensive tours of the US and Canada.
Opening night: 6 December 2012
Closing night: 6 December 2012
