Why See Lady Day?

The story of the late, great Billie Holiday brought to life by Tony and Grammy Award winner Dee Dee Bridgewater!

Lady Day is a new musical which tells the story of the late, great Billie Holiday and her triumphs and trials both on-stage and off. Tony and Grammy Award winner Dee Dee Bridgewater will play the lead role for this Broadway premiere, one she played in Paris and London back in the 1980s.

The musical is directed by Stephen Stahl, who also wrote the book.
