Lots of fun, very upbeat and entertaining,

I went to this show with my sisters, my husband, and our teen aged kids last night, and we all really enjoyed it. The set is incredible, the songs are fun, and the acting is great. Lots of fun references to music, and I really liked the Bruce Springsteen number. It picked up the tempo of the show after a little quieter part, and the audience loved it. Of course, I had to explain to my 16 year old who Bruce Springsteen is. Sigh. I would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun night out. Probably not for really little kids, because of some strong language.

Having seen the film based on the Nick Hornby novel I was looking forward to this production. I really enjoyed the show which was upbeat and funny. The humour was spot on and the cast strong throughout. I especially enjoyed the section with the rewind and replay's when Ian enters the store.

I agree with the previous comment about Bruce Springsteen which I feel didn't quite work although the song was a crowd pleaser.

I would recommend the show for a great night out in New York. Be aware that if you are taking the kids there are several times when strong language is used

Music great, plot needs work, a bit wordy at times,

I had a fun time at the show because the music was upbeat. I didn't like the Bruce Springsteen part and the plot was weak and dragged out. When the cast wasn't singing the dialogue was a bit wordy. All in all a fun night.
