A high-tech cold dark night
Expertly mixing technology, visual arts and live action theatre, Helen Lawrence is a brand new creative experience, whereby the grizzly power struggle for Vancouver in the aftermath of WWII is played out in this thrilling film noir inspired tale on screen, whilst the actors are transplanted into the action via blue screens.
Fizzing with suspense, Helen Lawrence contains all the usual suspects from a classic noir; the hard-nosed gambling dons, crooked cops and of course, the enigmatic femme fatale. With Direction from Stan Douglas and written by Chris Haddock, you can be sure you're seeing something completely unique!
