Based on Graham Greene's Classic
Mild-mannered retired bank manager Henry Pulling is quite content with his sleepy surburban existence until his eccentric Aunt Augusta shows up and turns his world upside down. Despite Henry's many reservations, the pair embark on a series of escapades across Europe and South America, meeting a weird and wonderful collection of characters from Augusta's past, including international drug smugglers and CIA agents. As the mysteries and dangers increase, Henry realises that he's actually rather enjoying himself.
Based on the classic novel from Graham Greene, Travels With My Aunt is brought to the Clurman Theatre stage by the Keen Company, who scored a hit at the venue earlier this year with the Andrew Lippa musical John and Jen. A cast of only four will inhabit the show's 25 plus characters, swapping costumes, genders and nationalities in a whirlwind showcase of theatrical dexterity.
