An Experience Like No Other
Third Rail Projects brings another immersive theatrical experience to New York, following up last year's Grand Paradise. For six weeks, the company transform Lincoln Center's Clair Tow Theatre into a series of real and imaginary landscapes, inviting audiences into areas of the performance space which are usually off limits to the public in a unique tribute to the magic of the theatre. Ghost Light is conceived by Zach Morris & Jennine Willett, and created in collaboration with the company.
What to Expect from Ghost Light?
For a taste of what to expect, Third Rail Projects are the company behind the long-running Then She Fell in Williamsburg, in which 15 audience members are taken through a church building that has been turned into a steampunk psychiatric ward inhabited by characters from Alice in Wonderland. Each performance is different, as the audience, who are given a set of keys at the beginning of the show which opens all manner of closets and drawers, are invited to fully become part of the show. So expect plenty of audience participation in a show that blurs the usual boundries of live performance.
