1st concert in 1974 - Amazing; 2nd was 1979 in a small bar - Unbelievable; 3rd was "A Capella" in 1985 - Genius; 4th was 1995 - Aging well; 5th was last night at Hoyt Sherman - A Wizard, A True Star. The only thing this 70 year old couldn't do last night was hit his high notes from the 70s and 80s … so he didn't try … instead he nailed it with his voice of today … covered some other artists songs they could only dream of sounding that good. See him if you can

Unpredictable indeed! The one thing that was predictable though is just how
amazing a musician and showman Todd Rundgren is. Very impressive show with
Todd and his band in excellent vocal and instrumental form. The set-list had a very
good mix of classic Todd songs along with some surprising and quirky, but well
arranged and executed songs that came from left field. Some of the unpredictable
tunes included "Don't Bogart That Joint" (Little Feat), "500 Miles" (The Proclaimers),
"I Don't Want To Grow Up" (Mary Martin from Peter Pan?"), and "Mar-a-lago Brillo"
(aka Camarillo Brillo by Frank Zappa). For those fans of Todd that might have been
not as familiar with most of the music on his last few tours, the collection of his own
songs he performed last night should have most surely satisfied. "I Don't Want To
Tie You Down", "A Dream Goes on Forever', "Can We Still Be Friend?", and "I Saw
The Light" were among those performed to perfection. All in all an awesome night
of fun!

TODD AND UTOPIA AT THE MOORE IN SEATTLE
Wow! Been a fan of Todd and Utopia since the 70's and I was not disappointed. Amazing
to me that after so many years apart the core Utopia group still sounds terrific. Great job
by Gil on keyboards, he killed it! Kaz, Willie and Todd were on point all evening and
provided the crowd with 2 1/2 hours of purely enjoyable rock, covering the entire Utopia
catalog. Great video stage graphics to enhance the mood of the kick ass progressive rock
in the first half of the show and the pop numbers played during the 2nd half. Would have
liked to hear a few more Todd signature numbers, but after all, this is a Utopia show, so
that is to be expected. Hoping the success of this tour leads to others, and if it does, don't
miss it.

LOVE TODD!
What a great night! We sat on the main floor middle 8 rows in and it was amazing.
No sound problems there. Todd is still quite the showman at the age of almost 70.
Vocals from the band were impressive, costumes amazing, music phenomenal!
Love Utopia😍

TODD @ WILTERN IS BETTER THAN EVER!
Utipia at the Wktern blew me away. The
giy is 70 and was shreeding guitar like a
blizzard. His boice seems stronger
thanever. And his stage energy was
fabulius. Hthe first set was his old vintage
Utipia jam rock. A lot of notes and they
four of them nailed it. The second set
they played the hits. Todd truly is a
wizard a true star
Josh from San Francisco, California
AMAZING!
This show was so much better than I had anticipated,
having seen him in San Francisco last year playing
some electronic music. This show had Kasim, Wilcox,
and an excellent keyboard player along with Todd in
fine vocal and guitar form. The sound was really really
good – and I was in the first row which sometimes
gets wonky sound- Truly an excellent, well paced,
lovely show. Loved it

More than hoped for.
An excellent concert.

FROM THE HEART
The first time I saw Todd was in 1974 in Seattle. I saw him in 2018 and 2019 in Portland, Oregon. Todd is a walking encyclopedia of rock and roll. He is a complete genius and plays from the heart. Watching him perform is a treat and an honor. His band is pretty amazing too!
Hans from Boulder, Colorado
DIVERSE AND ENJOYABLE.
A totally engaging anthology with great visuals. He has a refined humility that establishes an audience connection like no others. There was great story telling, audience Q/A and he gave his band members some great solo moments. This was a diverse and enjoyable show, -- a solid 2 2/3 hours of captivating entertainment

STILL 'EVER POPULAR' WITHOUT THE 'TORTURED EFFECT'
This performer is not one of those aging rockers playing local festivals and trying to live off of a couple of old hits, but a real artist that continues to create great new music after ~50 years (White Knight) and better versions of himself. He seems to have been gifted with a 'Tony Bennett' like larynx as his voice and range holds up nicely in a more than 2.5 hour show! A loyalist since the early '70's, I continue to be amazed at his creative talents and sometimes forgetful of the large library of original music that he's created. I also had an opportunity to meet and chat with TR before the show and he's quite humble and kind, talking about his software creation (Flow Fazer) and bragging about his son Randy a former minor/major league baseball player now coaching in Northern Ohio. Hey R&R HoF: TR is YOUR loss, not his.

NOV 10 GIG IN DENVER OUTSTANDING
first set was 90 minutes of more accessable solo work. Excellent band. GREAT TO HAVE Jesse Gress back from lung transplant!!
Jeff Patrick from Clearwater, Florida
R SAID COME TO THE CLEARWATER AMPHITHEATER ARE INCREDIBLY GOOD SOUND SOUNDS JUST GREAT
Places well structured and built real well due to the fact that the winds that come off that area if the storm comes in we blow the top right off that place but they hats off to the civil engineering and again great shows Great sound JP Seminole

TODD UP CLOSE
Amazing show! I peaked at earlier set lists of this tour, and noticed that there were no songs i recognized until the encore. didn't matter. every song through the course of the set was a winner. unbelievable talent! definitely not a greatest hits or nostalgia tour!
JTH from Cincinnati, Ohio
ECLECTIC AND ENTERTAINING
The fact that TR's "hit wonder" followers were probably not expecting the set-list of the Cincinnati Me/We show is further evidence of his credo of IDGAF artistic and eclectic performances. Playing some songs for the first time live and some not-so-well-known songs across a wide array of genres, including one a Capela tune followed immediately by the hard rock performance of 'Rock Love' would test any performers ability to deliver, which he did. He played for almost exactly two hours, with no break except prior to the encore. His voice was incredibly strong and could cover a wide range of genres simultaneously. Recall that he will turn 76 in two months and is now touring over 50 cities, performing several times a week, a test even for those half his age. Truly a Wizard and True Star.

UNPREDICTABLE
For those who came to hear Predicable that is not
what the show was about. It was unpredictable and
song set good. We travelled from NC and would
again.
Sound engineer did ok with an old church venue. I
wish the lady up front would have stopped with the
song suggestions from the audience. Clearly that was
why Todd didn’t play Hello it’s me. He warned her
several times. What was wrong with her the title of
show was unpredictable. I have seen Todd three
times this year. Can’t wait to go again.
David D from Phoenix, Arizona
UTOPIA
It was a great show. The Band played excellent, so many great songs, even the sound
was good at Comerica. So enjoyable to watch Todd jammin out lead guitar riffs with the
best of them. He is still a great showman who can work the room. Till next Brother!
Don VG from Minneapolis, Minnesota
TIGHT MUSICIANSHIP - WIDE RANGE
Never saw Todd before; familiar with some of the hits but didn't get to hear my fav's.
First set mostly instrumental, showcasing the prog-rock genre Rundgren pioneered.
Amazed at the vocal performance; Todd still has range after all these years. 2nd set
consisted of more radio-length songs vs. the jams of the first set. Displayed range
with ELO's "Do Ya" to a West Side Story tune. Hoping to hear "Bang The Drum" or
"Still be Friends" and you'll be disappointed, but clearly one of the guitar masters
still touring today.
David from Toronto, Ontario
GREAT PERFORMANCE
I have been listening to his music (both Utopia & his solo work) since the 70's.
Over that time, I have only managed to see him 3 times, so I was really looking
forward to this show.
The playing as well as the vocal work was outstanding and I wish I could have sat
through the show twice. At almost 70 years of age, it's amazing Todd still has the
vocal chops.
The only downside to the show (at least for me was the sound). I was sitting in the
1st balcony almost dead center. Pretty much an ideal location from a mix stand
point.
The "front of house engineer" had a good balance of everything going.
The problem was that he was driving the system a lot louder than it needed to be.
That resulted in a lot of sonic detail completely getting lost in a massive assault of
mid range frequencies.
Anyway, this is not supposed to be a sound review.
Utopia 5 out of 5 for performance and basically nailing the material.
Sound, 3 out of 5.
Thanks for the memories guys.

EXACTLY WHAT I EXPECTED...A GREAT SHOW
Loved the songs and dialog. I’m a fan of the music and this concert didn’t disappoint. I don’t typically pay to see concerts as I work in the industry but this was worth the price of admission. Wishing Todd all the best and thanks for the music!!!

TODD IN BOULDER
All of the best concerts I have gone to, have a common denominator - I knew nothing of the artist and their music at the time. No. 1 on that list - Todd, on the first Utopia tour. I'm still blown away.
May 30 2019 in Boulder - I give it 4 stars because my wife loved it. He played most of his "hits" and "near misses", and maybe favorites of his that you wouldn't expect him to play, such as "Fair Warning". The songs I enjoyed the most were the ones I have heard the least, like "I Don't Want to Tie You Down".
I bought all his records and played them heavily after seeing him the first time, and this is the third time since then. He's never measured up to the first time, but that is probably not his fault.
The encore was Just One Victory. It felt great to sing along. But Kasim Sulton should be ashamed of himself for not even trying to play John Siegler's bass part in that song. C'mon, man! (I still miss John and Kevin Ellman.)
Connie from Toronto, Ontario
SOUND GUISE
Also a fan of all Rundgren music. Many great moments, especially the last half hour with audience
participation. BUT I have to agree - something was wrong with the sound. We've been to many concerts at
Massey Hall, and this one didn't stack up because of slurred sound - sorry to say.
Kitty from Minneapolis, Minnesota
OUCH
I am a true "Todd is God" fan. Utopia is truly
utopian. Was so excited to see the show!!
Which is why it was such a crushing blow to
hear the HORRIBLE sound in the first set.
Couldn't hear vocals, and the instruments
sounded mushed together and indistinct,
with the notable exception of the drums.
Yikes! They were front and center, taking over
the show. So disappointing, particularly from
a genius who prides himself on the quality of
his sound. Will always be a true fan, but this
one hurt.
Joe Martines from Seattle, Washington
SEATTLE MOORE THEATER
Some good moments with Love is the Answer and One World, but
overall I found it loud and boring. Sound was off and singing was not
heard very well in first half; got better in the second set. I thought it
was loud and heavy... He's a better singer than guitarist... Bassist's voice
when singing solo was annoying...
Eileen C. from Chicago, Illinois
TODD RUNDGREN/UTOPIA CHGO CONCERT
Not happy whatsoever. How can
someone that is a pretty big
musical artists such as taught
himself, give a concert and spend
the first 30 minutes of the concert,
not singing at all, only playing the
guitar. Then for the next 45
minutes so, he played songs that
my sister and I have never heard.
Apparently they're from his new
album, I guess, don't know. He also
played an ELO song. Um...really?
How about playing a Utopia song!!!
NOT happy at all! Also, re the
Chicago Theater, the seating
sucked. The seating is barely on an
angle, and we couldn't even see
the stage in front of us, only heads.
Really disappointed overall. Never
again Todd, sorry.
Birdie Bush from Milwaukee, Wisconsin
TODD RUNDGREN NEW TOUR IS AWFUL
If you’re a huge fan like I was, until after the Pabst Theatre concert, you’ll be sorely disappointed. You have to wait through two hours of painful songs no one has ever heard before, and then, as if they were bored and in a rush, the band plays an encore medley of all of his hit songs, that took all of 5 minutes,
Not ONE song in the painful two hours was recognizable, nor good. Skip this.
Tom from Akron, Ohio
WORST CONCERT I EVER ATTENDED!
The sound in the theater was horrible! I am sure it wasn't the venue as I have attended other concerts there that have had incredible sound. Besides the poor sound he played 2 songs that we recognized from the past. This band reminded me of a garage band that is just getting started. We were so looking forward to seeing him and couldn't be more disappointed. When Todd was really playing his guitar it was never singled out and was barely discernable from the others in the band.
John lee from Akron, Ohio
IS IT AGE ?
Saw Todd 4/26/24 in Akron. What a disappointment. First off it was noticeable he had a cold and struggled with his voice. Outside of two obscure Utopia songs the rest of the set list was relative unknown especially his Rap song. What surprised the hell out of me was his disconnect to the audience. There was zero talk until right before the last song of the encode when he introduced the band then after the last song thanking Akron and Cleveland. That was it! The encode was 17 minutes long long where he did a medley of bits of the oldies then one song after that the medley and that was it. I get he is 75 and I have utmost respect but compared to his last performance in Northfield a few years ago this was just a waste of time
