A multi-layered exploration of love, marriage and family discord
Three couples entangle themselves in a web of sexual power play, frustration and deceit in this new dark comedy at The Beckett Theatre. The Happy Family is the first in a season of new works at Theatre Row from Christopher B Latro, and promises to be a tense four hander from this fast emerging young playwright. An NYU graduate, he first made a splash in 2014 with Absolution at St Lukes Theatre, which traced the increasingly ferocious battle between two ambitious bankers. Absolution marked his first collaboration with director Anna Bamberger, who also directs this production.
